Dr. Michelle Hamland and Dr. Kimberly Khoury-Dillon are Doctorate prepared Informatics Nurse Specialists with extensive clinical and informatics knowledge.  Together they have 35+ years of combined experience in clinical practice; including critical care, emergency services, pediatrics, neonatal intensive care, pediatric intensive care, obstetrics, medical-surgical, and clinical research.  They are qualified in the development, deployment, and evaluation of healthcare information technology.  As Informatics Nurse Specialists, Dr. Hamland and Dr. Khoury-Dillon are dedicated to serving as liaisons between clinicians and IT, while leveraging evolving technologies in the development of innovative solutions.  During the COVID 19 pandemic, they have been integral contributors in establishing rapid disaster responses to support the quality, safety, and efficiencies of patient care through technology.
